Arts and Crafts House
This large house in Cheshire was built in the mid-1990s in a Arts and Crafts style. Over-decorated and impractical for family use, it was in need of a complete rethink of the interior layout, key architectural design elements and furnishings.
The three-year programme of redesign featured the creation of two new staircases and hallways, and a curved, glazed room allowing a panorama of the lake. In addition, a fernery was installed to provide a more comfortable link to the pool from the main house, along with full height glazed doors opening onto two large, covered verandas.
